Base (RAM Mount)

The base (RAM Mount) is the first component of a RAM Mount system. It is used to permanently or temporarily attach the system to the vehicle. The device carrier is mounted to it via a double socket arm. Bases are either permanently mounted on surfaces or around bodies, or non-permanently attached via clamps, magnets or suction cups.
